The Game is a historical fiction novel, set during the American Civil War, in a small town in New Jersey.
It focuses on a family whose father is away serving in a military hospital, specifically the three daughters, Rose, Rowena, and Feilica. More commonly known as Rose, Roo, and Fae.
They live a pretty normal life, and are pretty normal themselves, but they manage to have plenty of adventures anyway.
Suitable for ages 10 and up.
